Job summary

Fishbeck has a full-time opening for a Mechanical Engineer in our Toledo, OH area. The role involves a broad range of projects across industrial, municipal, healthcare, commercial, and higher education markets, including HVAC and plumbing design, construction drawings, and specifications.

The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, conduct field investigations, and provide construction phase engineering support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Architectural/Engineering (A/E) consulting business.
• PE license or working toward licensure.
• Proficiency with Revit mechanical software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and collaboratively.

Job Summary

This opportunity involves a wide variety of projects across the industrial, municipal, healthcare, commercial, and higher education markets. The successful candidate will perform mechanical engineering assignments including HVAC and plumbing system design calculations and the development of construction drawings and specifications. Minimum Physical Requirements

Normal office working conditions with use of a computer. Ability to travel to and maneuver around project sites to attend client and project meetings and to access sites for observation, investigation, and evaluation. Ability to use various technical equipment for communication and documentation. Visual acuity necessary to perform responsibilities. Occasional light lifting, sitting, and walking.
