⚙️ Mechanical Engineer - Simulation X 2 positions

Location: Sarasota, FL – will relocate
Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Overview

We are seeking two Mechanical Engineers to support the design and development of advanced training products. These roles will work closely with product management and cross‑functional teams to design, prototype, and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer training needs and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate product requirements, customer feedback, and training objectives into engineering specifications and design concepts.
  • Lead mechanical design and development of new training products, ensuring functionality, durability, and usability.
  • Build and test prototypes to validate performance, safety, and compliance with requirements.
  • Create detailed CAD models, engineering drawings, and documentation for manufacturing.
  • Support supply chain and manufacturing teams with part selection, vendor engagement, and design‑for‑manufacturing best practices.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide engineering support throughout the product lifecycle, including sustaining engineering for existing products.
  • Ensure designs meet cost, quality, and timeline goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–5+ years of mechanical engineering experience; background in medical devices, training products, or related industries preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent) and FEA/analysis tools.
  • Hands‑on prototyping and testing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, plastics, machining, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience working in cross‑functional product development teams.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to balance technical requirements, cost constraints, and user needs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 20%.
