Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Engineering Technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve production processes, equipment, and workflows.
  • Design and implement solutions that enhance safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead and support process improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and work measurement to establish standards.
  • Use data and engineering principles to identify root causes and solve problems.
  • Develop reports with clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Support facility layout, material flow, and manpower optimization.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve production performance and reduce waste.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and support quality and audit initiatives.
  • Train and support teams on new processes and improvements.
  • Monitor results and drive continuous improvement.

As a Mechanical Engineer at Webco, you’ll be at the center of operations—working closely with production, quality, and leadership teams to improve performance, efficiency, and safety.

You will:
  • Analyze and improve production processes, equipment, and workflows

Required:

This role splits time between office and plant floor. You’ll be hands‑on in a dynamic manufacturing setting, with:
  • Exposure to equipment, noise, and production activity
  • Required PPE in plant areas (hearing protection, safety glasses, steel‑toe shoes)
  • Physical activity including walking, standing, and occasional lifting
