Job summary

TechDoQuest is seeking an Onsite coordinator - Mechanical in San Diego. You will act as the primary interface with the client for mechanical and design activities, coordinating design work packages, priorities, deliverables and technical queries.

Responsibilities include applying the engineering design process to components, assemblies and systems, coordinating CAD designs, and ensuring compliance with client standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating mechanical design projects with clients.

• Ability to track actions and report status to stakeholders.

Job Description:

JD :

• Act as the primary engineering coordination interface with client for mechanical and design activities.
• Coordinate and monitor mechanical design work packages, priorities, deliverables, technical queries, and engineering actions.
• Apply the engineering design process for client mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Support engineering activities involving:
• Actuation & motion-control systems
• Hydraulic systems
• Thermal-management systems
• Review customer/performance requirements and support development of detailed design specifications
• Coordinate preparation and review of CAD designs, engineering drawings, calculations, technical reports, and related engineering documentation.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with applicable client standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate design reviews, risk assessments, corrective actions, and resolution of design/manufacturing issues.
• Work closely with client and internal manufacturing, quality, supply chain, engineering, and supplier teams.
• Support product development, product improvement, production handoff, and troubleshooting of design/manufacturing/field issues
• Track engineering actions to closure and provide clear status, risks, dependencies, and technical concerns to project stakeholders.
