Genesis AI in California is seeking a hardware-focused engineer to design, prototype, and build robotic systems optimized for performance and reliability. You will collaborate with robotics engineers to develop scalable data collection platforms that accelerate model learning.

You’ll improve simulation fidelity through system identification and work with the simulation team, while maintaining in-house hardware infrastructure for maximum uptime and throughput.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals and first-principles problem solving.
• Independent ownership and initiative to solve problems.
• Experience across diverse hardware form factors and platforms.
• Systems-level mindset with focus on robustness and integration.
• Track record of shipping fast without compromising quality.
• Bonus: hands-on actuators, PCB design, embedded systems or electromechanical integration.
