VantagePoint Alliance LLC is seeking Mechanical PEs to support major capital projects featuring rotating equipment, pressure vessels, piping, HVAC, and plant mechanical systems.

Responsibilities include providing stamped calculations, developing specifications, and performing stress analyses, fluid flows, and thermal evaluations. Candidates should have a PE license and 8+ years in industrial/power settings. EPC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency in CAESAR II or similar stress-analysis software.

• Provide engineering and stamped calculations for piping systems, supports, pressure boundaries, and rotating equipment.
• Develop mechanical design specifications, datasheets, and engineering deliverables.
• Perform stress analysis, fluid flow calculations, and thermal evaluations.
• Oversee equipment installation plans, QA/QC, and vendor submittal reviews.
• Conduct field walkdowns to verify installation and resolve issues.
• Support commissioning and start-up.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAESAR II or similar stress-analysis software.
• Preferred Gas turbines, steam turbines, CHP, or industrial facility experience.
• EPC experience a strong plus.
