Qualifications

Job description

Overview:

Our client is a well-established consulting engineering firm that is a national pioneer in the development of net zero energy buildings. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team within the Orlando market.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated responses.
2. Calculate heat loss/heat gain requirements for buildings.
3. Design mechanical systems layout using AutoCAD and/or REVIT software.
4. Coordinate system design with other trades.
5. Assist with jobsite meetings as needed.
6. Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise.
7. Create and maintain customer relationships.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
2. 3+ years of experience in MEP.
3. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT software.
