Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection to join our team on challenging commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. You will design systems, perform calculations, select equipment, prepare construction documents, and coordinate with architects, owners, and multidisciplinary teams from design through project completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems.
• EIT or PE license preferred (or the ability to obtain licensure).
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, or other design software.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for complex facilities.
• Perform engineering calculations and equipment selection.

What You May Work On

• HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection system design
• Data centers, manufacturing facilities, healthcare, higher education, industrial, commercial, and other technically demanding projects
• Engineering calculations, equipment selection, system layouts, and construction documents

What We're Looking For

• 5-15+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience
• Experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and/or fire protection systems
