Job summary

Clark & Enersen Inc. is seeking talented design professionals to join our Mechanical Engineering team in Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska.

You will analyze, design, and document mechanical systems for a range of projects, collaborating with clients, contractors, and fellow designers to create integrated building solutions. The role favors candidates with an accredited degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering, 0–5 years of experience, and a strong interest in HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire

Qualifications

• Accredited degree in Architectural Engineering (BSAE) or Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• Passing the FE Exam is preferred, but not required.
• 0–5 years mechanical engineering experience in the building industry preferred.
• Understanding of HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire suppression systems; desire to learn.
• Strong communication (oral and written) skills.
• Knowledge of engineering modeling programs is a plus (not required).
• LEED AP and/or WELL AP status is not required, but is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and document mechanical systems (HVAC, piping, plumbing, fire suppression) for diverse projects.
• Interact with clients, contractors, consultants, and manufacturers during design and construction.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines to develop integrated solutions.
• Engage with mechanical team members to manage multiple projects across Lincoln or Omaha offices.
