Job summary

Octagon Group in Texas is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical development of complex low-voltage switchgear and switchboard systems for mission-critical data centres. You will design mechanical assemblies, create manufacturing drawings, and support prototypes and manufacturing in a fast-growing environment.

The role requires hands-on ownership of engineered products and collaboration across teams to deliver reliable electrical infrastructure for hyperscale

Qualifications

• Experience with low-voltage switchgear or switchboards.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to create BOMs and perform DFM/DFA analysis.
• Technical ownership of complex engineered products in a fast-growing environment.

We're working with an innovative engineering organisation delivering mission-critical electrical infrastructure supporting hyperscale AI data centres across North America.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical development of complex low-voltage switchgear and switchboard systems.
