Key Responsibilities
Design HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial buildings, including air distribution, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.
Perform mechanical load calculations, equipment selection, duct and pipe sizing, and layout design.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and energy efficiency requirements (e.g., IMC, IECC, ASHRAE).
Prepare construction documents including mechanical drawings, specifications, and schedules using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in HVAC load calculation software (e.g., Trane TRACE, HAP) and design tools (Revit, AutoCAD).
