Layup Parts is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to design equipment that automates high-volume tasks on the production floor. You will own projects from design through commissioning, collaborating with software and controls teams to ensure robust, durable equipment and enabling rapid production improvements.

This role will work on creating new equipment to support the automation of high-volume tasks on the production floor. Your goal is to increase the capability of each Composites Technician.
Design equipment to support process improvement and automation throughout the factory floor.
Own equipment from design, test,installand commission, and ensure durability for long term production applications
Collaborate with software, controls, and production teams to ensure equipment meets functions as intended
Develop and implement training programs for new equipment.
