We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 5–7 years of experience and a strong command of SolidWorks. This role is ideal for someone who can contribute immediately to the design and development of complex capital equipment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the creation and support of Vytek’s advanced laser systems and must be confident working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment.

Vytek Laser Systems is hiring an experienced Mechanical Engineer (5–7 years) with deep expertise in SolidWorks 3D CAD and mechanical design for complex capital equipment. You’ll drive product development from concept through production, working cross-functionally with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to deliver world‑class industrial laser systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for capital equipment and industrial automation.

• Hands‑on experience designing complex motion systems, pneumatics, and precision mechanical mechanisms.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Nice To Have

• Familiarity with GD&T, FEA analysis tools, and DFM/DFA methodologies
