Akkodis is seeking an experienced engineer to support the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of locomotive truck systems and components in Erie, PA. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer, safety, performance, and regulatory requirements while supporting new product development and fleet reliability.

Requirements:

Support the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of locomotive truck systems and components, taking technical work from concept through implementation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure subsystem designs meet customer, safety, performance, and regulatory requirements while supporting new product development and fleet reliability.

Candidates should have experience in rail, automotive, heavy equipment, transportation, or industrial manufacturing, along with a strong understanding of engineering design, product development, and systems integration. They should be able to manage projects independently, complete technical tasks, analyze and troubleshoot problems, communicate effectively across teams, and use engineering tools and documentation processes.
