Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in El Paso, TX to support manufacturing, quality and new product development teams. You will review drawings, GD&T requirements, and BOMs, troubleshoot assembly issues, and develop solutions to improve manufacturability and reliability.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics engineering, 2+ years of experience in electronics or high-volume manufacturing, and CAD proficiency with SolidWorks, Creo

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Mechatronics engineering or closely related field.
• 2+ years mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, server manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
• Hands-on production or manufacturing-floor engineering experience preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for server, rack, chassis, enclosure, and related hardware manufacturing operations.
• Review and interpret mechanical drawings, GD&T requirements, and bills of material.
• Troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues involving chassis, brackets, fasteners, rails, heatsinks, fans, cables, connectors, and structural components.
• Investigate fit, form, function, alignment, interference, tolerance, fastening, and assembly-related problems.
• Develop engineering solutions to improve manufacturability, assembly quality, and product reliability.
