Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a Test Engineer to bring complex vegetation management equipment from concept to validated performance. You will work with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Operations, Sales, and customers to turn performance expectations into clear validation plans and tangible results.

You will design and execute test plans for components and full systems, coordinate field testing, analyze data, and produce reports that drive product and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in product testing, validation, development, or a closely related engineering role.
• Strong attention to detail, project leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
• The ability to translate product requirements into practical test methods, disciplined documentation, and meaningful conclusions.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is preferred.
• Hands-on experience operating forestry, construction, agricultural, or similar heavy equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define product performance expectations, project priorities, and validation requirements with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.
• Develop and execute thorough test and validation plans for individual components and complete equipment systems.
• Coordinate product testing with Engineering and R&D, ensuring the right resources, timing, and technical focus are in place.
• Analyze test data, prepare clear reports for internal and external audiences, and recommend product or process improvements.
• Build and maintain testing policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation that strengthen consistency and quality.
• Research and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment that support effective testing activities.
• Conduct site, customer, and field testing as needed, while managing project-related testing costs and resources.
