Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support mechanical systems across our plant. You will develop scopes, plans and quotes for capital and maintenance projects, meet schedules and budgets, and identify opportunities to improve reliability.

You will act as a technical resource, assist with troubleshooting, maintain technical documents, and train mill personnel while ensuring safety procedures are followed by all. Experience in pulp and paper environments is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, preferably mechanical, required or preferred.
• Industrial experience, preferably in Pulp & Paper.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including pumps, gearboxes, lubrication, vibration, piping, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and thermal systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
