I'm partnering with an ambitious robotics company building and deploying humanoid robots in real factory environments. They're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design the manipulation hardware that makes these robots genuinely useful, owning critical components from early concepts through production and deployment.
They're looking for an engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and shipping electromechanical hardware, ideally involving robotic manipulators, actuated joints, humanoids, cobots, legged robots, or precision motion systems. Deep expertise in mechanism and actuator design, machine design, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and a major CAD platform such as SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or Onshape is essential. Experience with dexterous hands, FEA, lightweighting, sensors, or whole-body robotics is a strong plus.
This is an on-site opportunity in New York City with significant ownership over the mechanical architecture and the chance to build manipulation hardware designed to operate reliably on real factory floors.
