Job summary

LiquidPiston is seeking an Engine Design Engineer to drive design from concept to production for next‑gen power and propulsion systems.

You will design engine subsystems, create CAD models, and perform FEA and thermal analyses while collaborating with suppliers and cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in engine design or complex mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, combustion, and mechanical integration.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, FEA tools, and engine modeling software (GT-Power, AVL).
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing.
