Job summary

The Bachrach Group in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a permanent, direct-hire role.   • 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills.
  • CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Sole U.S. Citizenship with eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced research and test environment.
  • Occasional travel required (approximately 2–3 times per year).

What You'll Do

  • Experience with computational modeling / CFD tools.
  • Proficiency with data acquisition and control systems (e.g., LabVIEW).
  • Background in fabrication, mechanical integration, or instrumentation.
  • Experience in hazardous or industrial testing environments.
  • Firefighting training or operational experience.
  • Familiarity with FAA research programs or aviation safety testing.
