The Mechanical Engineer will provide support to engineering projects for expansions and improvements across a wide variety of areas, including pipe forming equipment, utility equipment and system, resin conveying equipment, quality testing equipment, etc. The role involves working with plant personnel and equipment suppliers to design equipment specifications.
This position has no immediate supervisory responsibilities. May provide leadership for designated projects.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field AND minimum of 5 years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Must be proficient with AUTOCAD, MS Office and Microsoft Project.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret design drawings. Able to write technical reports, identify trends and develop action plans to address issues.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form. Ability to identify trends and develop action plans to address issues.
