Job summary

A leading company in braking technology is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to support the design and testing of mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have experience with 3D CAD software and a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields. This on-site position in Westminster, Maryland, offers a wage scale of $16.00 to $23.00 per hour, depending on experience and class year.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of Mechanical Components.
• Support testing of new products based on product requirements.
• 3D CAD Drafting of components and products.
• Conduct analysis of tolerances, stress/strain, statics, dynamics, and heat transfer.

Skills

Basic materials knowledge

Drafting

Familiar with 3D CAD software (NX/Creo)

Hands on experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Education

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related (3.0 or higher)
