Job summary

A leading manufacturer in Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, test, and assist in the installation of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, two years of design experience, and proficiency with CAD software. Qualifications

• Two years' related experience in Design.
• Basic understanding of finite element analysis (FEA).
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of proper welding designations.
• Knowledge of elevator industry safety requirements preferred.
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines.
• Current, valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Research and select proper mechanical components for each design project.
• Serve as primary contact for resolving mechanical problems.
• Coordinate with Sales team and customers in preparing sales quotes.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing to assemble and test components.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models and drawings.
• Perform detailed mechanical engineering calculations and simulations.

Skills

Proficiency with 2D and 3D modeling software

Strong communication skills

Excellent problem-solving skills

Knowledge of mechanical components, systems, and materials

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
