Job summary
A leading manufacturer in Wisconsin is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, test, and assist in the installation of mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, two years of design experience, and proficiency with CAD software. Qualifications
Two years' related experience in Design.
Basic understanding of finite element analysis (FEA).
Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge of proper welding designations.
Knowledge of elevator industry safety requirements preferred.
Ability to manage and meet deadlines.
Current, valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
Research and select proper mechanical components for each design project.
Serve as primary contact for resolving mechanical problems.
Coordinate with Sales team and customers in preparing sales quotes.
Coordinate with Manufacturing to assemble and test components.
Create and maintain detailed 3D models and drawings.
Perform detailed mechanical engineering calculations and simulations.
Skills
Proficiency with 2D and 3D modeling software
Strong communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Knowledge of mechanical components, systems, and materials
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
