Neuralink is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern located in South San Francisco. As an intern, you will design and produce hardware solutions for cutting-edge brain-computer interface devices, contributing to projects from concept through production.

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least one year of mechanical design experience. The position offers compensation at $35 per hour and various benefits including excellent medical insurance and flexible time off.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ months of relevant academic coursework or project experience.
• 1+ year of Mechanical Design experience.

Responsibilities

• Support design and production of hardware solutions for brain-computer interface devices.
• Design, build, test, and validate systems for the implant and related components.
• Work with multiple engineering disciplines to define system requirements.
