Job summary

TopWorx, a division of Emerson Process Management, seeks an Engineering Co-Op in Louisville, KY to support sustaining engineering, drafting, and cross-disciplinary problem solving under the Engineering Manager.

You will create finished shop drawings, assist with assembly and QA in the lab, and collaborate with Materials, Electrical, and Mechanical teams. Spring 2027 onsite work; Emerson offers development opportunities and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Computer Science or related field.
• Must be able to work onsite full-time during Spring 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Assists in sustaining engineering of current products.
• Creates finished, shop-ready detail drawings from assembly/layout drawings as requested.
• Supports assembly and problem solving of products in manufacturing and test lab.
• Provide support to drafters/detailers/designers/engineers as needed.
• Be able to work with different disciplines such as Materials, Electrical, and Mechanical.
• Other duties may require Process Writing or updating Work Instructions for product.
