GPI is seeking Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and Structural Building Systems Engineering Interns for our Suffern, NY office. Interns will participate in engineering analysis, design development, drafting, field investigations, report preparation, contractor submittal reviews, and site visits. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of building systems projects, including commercial, institutional, industrial, and public sector facilities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills and experience or coursework in building systems engineering. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or other building information modeling (BIM) software is preferred.
Our individualized internship program provides opportunities to gain exposure to multiple disciplines within building engineering, including mechanical HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing and fire protection design, and structural engineering. Each intern is paired with mentors.
