Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks a seasoned Maintenance Supervisor to lead plant equipment upkeep at our Gladstone, Virginia facility. You will plan and schedule preventive maintenance, oversee electrical and mechanical staff, and drive continuous improvement to minimize downtime.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial maintenance, a technical degree, and the flexibility to work hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Technical degree and/or comparable experience in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Protect the plant's equipment and facilities through work planning, failure analysis, continuous improvement, operational troubleshooting, employee training and development and organization optimization.
• Supervise maintenance, mechanical, and electrical staff including planning and scheduling maintenance work responsibilities.
• Establish and assign routine maintenance schedules and coordinate machine downtime.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies with a focus on cost controls.
• Schedule work, coordinate production activities, provide direct oversight of employees.
• Ensure predictive and preventive maintenance programs are accomplished and repairs are completed.
• Establish and maintain maintenance budgets and recommend capital improvements.
