Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical EIT to support senior staff on design projects in our Dallas area offices. You will assist in producing designs, performing calculations, and ensuring compliance with industry standards while learning company procedures and best practices.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited engineering degree, is familiar with Revit and AutoCAD, and is pursuing or has earned the FE license. Strong MS Office skills and a collaborative mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required or confirmed.
• Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD software.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior design staff in execution of technical activities on projects.
• Learn industry standards and company policies during project work.
• Produce designs using Revit or CAD under supervision.
• Support design processes, calculations, and documentation.
• Coordinate designs with other disciplines and review field conditions.
