At AV we design, integrate, test, and deploy state-of-the-art systems for a range of applications. Projects vary from packaging high reliability electronics subsystems to opto-mechanical mechanism design such as gimbal and steering mirror systems. We are seeking a Mechanical Drafting Technician to support our engineering team in the design and documentation of custom machined parts, assemblies and BOM (Bill of Material) generations and management. This role will focus on capturing technical data into our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, preparing drawings, and assisting with mechanical model design and assembly drawings using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in engineering design tools, and comfortable working across multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering).
Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment (Constant). Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent).

The salary range for this role is: $21 - $32
