Actalent in Sacramento, CA seeks a Mechanical Drafter with HVAC and plumbing drafting experience. You will prepare detailed mechanical and plumbing drawings using Revit MEP and 3D modeling to support engineers and project teams on diverse building projects.

Qualificações

• 37 years of HVAC and/or plumbing drafting or design experience, with a focus on mechanical systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of mechanical and/or plumbing design experience in HVAC for mid-level consideration.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP for mechanical and plumbing drafting and design.
• Hands-on experience with 3D modeling in a construction or MEP environment.
• Experience in HVAC design and plumbing design for building projects.
• Experience working in consulting or contractor environments on MEP-related projects.
• Understanding of MEP systems and their coordination with electrical and architectural design.
• Ability to produce accurate, detailed drawings and construction documents.

Responsabilidades

• Apply knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems to support design decisions and resolve layout or coordination issues.
• Review and update drawings based on design changes, engineering feedback, and construction requirements.
• Support consultants or contractors by providing clear documentation and responding to drawing-related questions.
• Maintain organized project files and drawing standards to ensure consistency across multiple projects.
• Contribute to a variety of projects, gaining experience in different building types and system configurations.

Job Title: Mechanical Drafter

This role is ideal for a mid-level mechanical drafter who brings strong HVAC and plumbing design experience and is eager to contribute to a wide variety of building projects. You will focus on mechanical and plumbing systems within HVAC applications, using Revit and 3D modeling tools to support engineers and other drafters in delivering high-quality construction documents. The position offers stability, a strong professional reputation, and the opportunity to gain broad experience while working in a collaborative office environment in Midtown.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $48.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
