Job summary

Avaron AB is seeking a hands‑on Mechanical Engineer to turn concepts into functional filling equipment. You will work in a scrum team on development and verification within an advanced engineering environment, close to machines and test rigs, and act as the link between design and real-world performance.

You will plan and execute physical tests, document results, and contribute to design feedback. Fluency in Swedish and English is required, with a focus on practical engineering impact.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Strong practical hands‑on engineering capability.
• Experience with mechanical equipment, testing or commissioning.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and designs.
• Structured documentation of test results and conclusions.
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, rebuild, and commission test equipment and test rigs for development activities.
• Drive practical development and verification work related to filling technologies and equipment.
• Execute physical tests and document results, observations, and recommendations.
• Define test methods, setups, and evaluation criteria for efficient development.
• Troubleshoot equipment and test setups during development programs.
• Collaborate with development teams to turn concepts into testable solutions.
• Evaluate mechanical designs for functionality, performance, maintainability, and ruggedness.
• Provide feedback to support better technical decisions.
• Support investments and upgrades in filling equipment and test environments.
• Contribute to verification and validation planning and ensure tests are completed on time.

Job Description

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar technical field.
• Strong practical hands‑on engineering capability.
• Experience working with mechanical equipment, machinery development, testing, or commissioning.
• Experience planning and executing physical tests and evaluations.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and mechanical designs.
• A structured way of documenting test results and technical conclusions.
• Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience from food processing, filling equipment, packaging machinery, or related industries.
• Knowledge of filling technologies or experience related to filling liquid food products.
• Experience with mechanical design review and constructive design feedback.
• Experience with machine rebuilds, installations, and commissioning.
• Understanding of product verification and validation activities.
• Knowledge of hygienic design principles.
• Hands‑on or operational experience working with automation systems.
