Job summary

ENFRA, a long-standing energy infrastructure leader, is seeking a Mechanical Designer I to design structures, products, components, or assemblies using engineering and architectural principles. You will work with project managers and the creative team to develop high-level concepts, ensure successful execution of project goals, and meet tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate has an associate's degree in HVAC Technology or related field, 0–2 years of design experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD

• Delivers concepts and designs according to strict project deadlines.
• Contributes to all areas of the creative process and department.
• Performs work under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HVAC Technology, Building Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or related field or 1-
• 2 years' experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, automatic temperature control systems, and/or testing, adjusting, and balancing.
• 0-2 years' design experience

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT

Travel Requirements

• 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Climbing stairs.
• Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
• Quiet environment.
• Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.

Pay Range

USD $26.53 - USD $35.88 /Hr.
