Job summary

Power Design is seeking a mechanical designer in Saint Petersburg, FL to work on HVAC load calculations, equipment selections, and ductwork and piping layouts for large-scale projects. You will coordinate design solutions, ensure quality standards, and collaborate with design and project teams.

Qualified candidates have a Mechanical Engineering degree, 1–3 years of experience, and knowledge of IPC/IMC/IBC/ASHRAE codes. Revit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Revit experience preferred.
• Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• Knowledge of IPC, IMC, IBC, ASHRAE codes.
• Read blueprints and perform basic plumbing calculations.
• HVAC load calculations and duct sizing/layout experience.
• Effective communication with project teams.
