Job summary

Servtech, a Roeslein & Associates Company, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to create manufacturing drawings, coordinate with engineering and production, and maintain accurate documentation to support project execution.

You will work with CAD tools like SolidWorks, CADWorx Plant, and Plant 3D to develop detailed, code-compliant drawings, review revisions, and collaborate across teams while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Associates degree preferred in CAD/Drafting or related technical field.
HS diploma or GED required for consideration.
3–4 years of experience in a manufacturing drafting/design environment preferred.
Strong GD&T knowledge; experience highly preferred.
Experience in oil and gas environments a plus.
Proficiency with SolidWorks, CADWorx Plant and AutoCAD Plant 3D required.
Knowledge of 2D/3D drafting techniques strongly preferred.
Ability to interpret engineer notes and sketches for complex designs.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Create manufacturing drawings with complete BOMs and precise dimensions.
Generate drawings from engineering sketches and equipment lists.
Collaborate with production to depict equipment accurately.
Utilize CAD commands efficiently and accurately.
Review and document redlines and drawing revisions.
Maintain relationships across locations and teams.
Support engineers and other designers to meet project goals.
Represent the organization with professionalism and urgency when addressing issues.
