Job summary

LPU Batangas in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to perform calculations and develop layouts for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection systems, using Revit or AutoCAD with junior staff support.

You will review drawings, draft specifications, conduct field measurements, and coordinate with other disciplines while applying heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics fundamentals. Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; EIT preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Building Information Modeling software (Revit/AutoCAD).
• Strong technical and analytical skills in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.

Responsibilities

About You

• Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred.

• Strong technical and analytical skills, including principles of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics related to mechanical systems design for buildings.
• Familiarity with Trane Trace 3D Plus and Bluebeam Revu.
