Job summary

Scott Equipment Company in New Prague, MN is seeking a Designer/Drafter to develop mechanical drawings for sales, engineering, and fabrication. You will ensure drawings meet customer specifications and timelines, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

Responsibilities include preparing preliminary drawings, verifying specs with engineering and sales, and maintaining project documentation in the PDM system. A college or technical degree with related experience is preferred, along with proficiency

Qualifications

• College/technical degree or certificate with 1 year related experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office and related productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepares preliminary sales drawings to assist in closing the sale.
• Verifies specifications with Engineering Manager and Salesperson.
• Generates drawings based on quoted design and specs for approvals.
• Documents BOM, vendor drawings, and maintains project records in the system.
