Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Zelienople, PA, seeks a mechanical designer to join a four-person drafting/design team. Requires an Associate's in Drafting/Design; proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD LT 2022; 3D scanning experience; on-site 5 days/week with occasional travel to US customers for monthly meetings. Salary range 52–85K, commutable to Zelienople plant.

Qualifications

• Requires at minimum an Associate's degree in Drafting/Design.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks preferred; Inventor and AutoCAD LT 2022 also used.
• Experience with 3D scanning.
• Ability to detail designs and collaborate with the shop on complex modeling.

Job description

This manufacturer designs and builds custom technical products out of metals.They are growing and looking for a mechanical designer. This person will join a drafting/design department of four, in Zelienople, PA.A minimum of an Associates Degree in Drafting/Design is required. Proficiency with SolidWorks is highly preferred, other design software’s like Inventor. Able to use AutoCAD LT 2022. Needs to be able to detail designs and work well with the shop on more complicated modeling.Experienced with 3D scanning.Salary range 52- 85K depending on skills and experience.Weekly work schedule of Monday- Friday 8am- 4.30pm. On site in Zelienople, PA. You need to be able to commute to work in the Zelienople plant 5 days per week.We are looking for someone who can travel to US customer locations (a lot of the customers are in the mid west), with a sales manager once a month.
