Job summary

Axens in Houston seeks a Designer to translate design concepts into drawings and coordinate between drafting and engineering for product excellence. You will ensure layout accuracy and support factory readiness on regular full-time basis.

The role requires 5 years of technical experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, and strong communication. You will collaborate across disciplines to optimize equipment layouts and ensure compliance with project specs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Arrange equipment and subassemblies; check layout for interference, accessibility and serviceability.
• Design or apply ducting, piping, burners, skid systems, FRP/steel vessels, process coils, refractory and structural steel.
• Oversee welding, painting and plating applications, ANSI/ASME specs, fabrication/shipping procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
