Storyteller Overland is seeking a Mechanical Designer to support daily operations within our Design and Engineering Team. You will own design challenges, driving them to resolution with innovation and precision while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and functionality.

As a passionate brand ambassador, you will ensure every design reflects our mission and values for adventure‑ready vehicles used by a vibrant community of vanlifers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years SolidWorks modeling including sheet metal and weldments.
• 2+ years SolidWorks drafting experience.
• Associates degree or certificate in drafting preferred.
• CSWE/CSWP/CSWA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain SolidWorks part, drawing, and assembly files for production.
• Collaborate with design/engineering to model vehicle components and prototypes.
• Develop manufacturing and QC prints for parts and assemblies.
• Maintain file structures and manage revisions with external partners.
• Input BOM data and support R&D assembly/testing as needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve design processes and quality.
