Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Designer in Wilmington, NC for a 6-month contract to help develop and refine mechanical equipment designs using AutoCAD and Inventor. You will create layouts, CAD drawings, and BOMs while ensuring adherence to drafting standards and safe, reliable production solutions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in mechanical design, experience with machining/fabrication, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver mechanical equipment designs and layouts using AutoCAD® and Inventor, ensuring compliance with company drafting standards.

• Redesign mechanical components to reduce installation costs, resolve equipment interferences, and correct design deficiencies.
• Execute design changes to address equipment or process challenges, ensuring all designs meet functional and performance requirements.
• Provide detailed sketches and marked-up drawings to address evolving project needs.

Job Description:

We are seeking Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team.
