Burdette, Koehler, Murphy and Associates, Inc., (BKM) is currently seeking a 1–4-year experienced Mechanical Designer to complete mechanical designs for new and existing facilities. The position is based in our Baltimore, Maryland corporate office. Our mechanical designers provide engineering services for education, government, healthcare, science & technology, and mission-critical facilities.

The Mechanical Designer is responsible for tasks including:

• Development of mechanical design drawings and specifications
• Calculations associated with all manner of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection designs
• Cost estimating associated with designs

Required Qualifications

• Experience designing HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems OR a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering OR Architectural Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering concentration from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience, passing the FE exam a plus
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office software
• Dedicated support staff.
