Generac Clean Energy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern for an on-site role in North Billerica, MA. You will join a mechanical group to support development of next‑gen BESS products, gaining hands-on experience in design, prototyping, and validation.

You will work with experienced engineers to contribute to CAD modeling, drawings, and documentation, while collaborating with design studio, hardware, and manufacturing teams to deliver tangible value by the end of the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanical design and CAD basics.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks and 2D drafting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Support mechanical design of components for BESS products in lab and prod environments.
• Assist with prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
• Contribute to 3D CAD modeling and 2D drawings under guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document results.
