Job summary

The Marvin Group seeks an engineering intern in Inglewood, CA to join the mechanical, manufacturing and tooling engineering teams. You will be mentored alongside engineers to contribute to innovative products such as rail launchers, bomb racks, and ground vehicle systems.

Gain exposure to the engineering design cycle, from concept to manufacturing and test, while interfacing with production, planning, and quality teams to deliver on schedule.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, Junior, Senior or postgraduate by start of summer in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of manufacturing fundamentals: structures, mechanisms, materials, analysis.
• Proficient in CAD modeling, drafting, and release.

Responsibilities

• Training and application of MEC tools including CATIA V5, SolidWorks and PDM.
• Design and Documentation support utilizing engineering tools and MS Office.
• Engineering Change Request and Drawing Release.
• Collaboration with coworkers and diverse teams.
• Training on MEC processes and procedures.
