ASME BPVC design, ideally with a focus on ASME Section VIII Division 2 or ASME Section III design by analysis (experience with complex loading combinations and seismic analysis). Clean-sheet mechanical/machine design (design of large fabrications/weldments). Experience with rotating equipment, pumps or turbomachinery, rotor dynamics analysis. Experience with NQA-1 quality program and safety-related equipment.

Plusses:
  • Analysis experience with complex loading combinations and seismic analysis
  • Clean-sheet mechanical/machine design (design of large fabrications/weldments
  • High-temperature design experience is a plus (liquid sodium)
Responsibilities:
  • Translate contract design specifications and code requirements into the requisite product design of components, subassemblies, and assemblies
