Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead and mentor teams focused on APU internals and turbomachinery. You will oversee 3D CAD modeling, drawings, BOMs, and analyses per industry standards, while coordinating with customers and internal partners to define requirements and ensure certification readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 8–12+ years of aerospace or turbomachinery engineering experience with APU exposure.
• Experience with APU internals, propulsion systems, rotating hardware, and aerospace qualification processes.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to learn basics of 3D modeling, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
• Interest in process improvement and digital transformation across the organization.
• Demonstrated leadership with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Honeywell Aerospace project management experience.
