Lab37 Robotics is seeking a hands-on mechanical engineering student to design and develop mechanical sub-components and test rigs for our robotics platform. You will create 3D CAD models, drawings, and assembly instructions while building and testing prototypes to iterate designs based on performance data.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues, and contribute to documentation and testing procedures.

Take on the ownership of hardware sub-components and test rigs. Work with a team to understand the larger system and contribute to its overall success with a detailed-oriented approach. Generate requirements, create CAD, and maintain documentation for project development, fabrication, and testing.
This role can be based in our Los Angeles or Pittsburgh office. That’s why all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week.
The base starting rate for this role is $25.00 - $35.00/hour.
Actual compensation will be determined on an individual basis and may vary depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
