Location: Horsham, PA

Role/Responsibilities

Mechanical Engineer with 5 to 10 Years of experience in Design and Development.
Should be familiar with plumbing system design using standard and custom components used in high purity gas and wet chemical processing equipment (valves, fittings, etc.)
Mechanical engineering expertise, while focusing on design quality, reliability, effective cost, and ease of manufacturing
Experience in Package plumbing components per P&ID Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) using standards and procedures.
Define mechanical design specifications based on customer requirements and company capabilities
Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years SolidWorks experience and well versed with AutoCAD.
Should be skilled in standard drafting practices in SolidWorks, including part detailing and tolerancing (ANSI Y14).
Experience in Engineering change management and release process
Provide “hands on” assistance and support to the manufacturing team
Ability to read and understand Plumbing and Instrumentation Diagram’s (P&ID)
Experience in designing equipment used in a cleanroom environment a plus.
Must be able to communicate effectively, written and verbally.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be proficient using Microsoft Excel.
Should have experience in using Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP or similar MRP systems.
Education requirements: AAS Mechanical Engineering curriculum with applicable industry experience, BSME preferred.
Design development and Drawing release.
Package plumbing components per P&ID Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) using standards and procedures.
Generate and modify Bill of Materials.
Interface with operations and electrical, process and software engineering.
Communicate and give direction to manufacturing personnel during build process.
Continually develop design standards to increase efficiency of the design and build processes.
Produce clear and accurate documentation in a timely manner.
Must adhere to various industry standards.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $37.01 per hour

Pay Range Maximum: $55 per hour

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
