Job summary

We seek Mechanical Design Engineers who can interpret work orders, create cost-effective designs, and collaborate with other departments and vendors to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Interpret work orders and documents to create designs.
• Designs meet customer specifications and release dates.
• Design new parts and assemblies to be cost effective and comply with manufacturing capabilities.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and vendors for project requirements.
• Follow standards for quality, safety, reliability and cost.
• Prepare assembly and detail drawings and Bill of Materials and publish to drawing library.
• Enter new parts into ERP.
• Refer to SOP and work instructions.
• Perform value engineering - creating or modifying machine designs.
