Job summary

You will closely follow SolidWorks guidelines and collaborate with design and mechanical engineering teams to ensure precise, visually appealing parts and assemblies. The role requires strong communication, team fit, and familiarity with machining, sheet metal design, and tolerancing.

Qualifications

• 4 Year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology.
• 2 Year degree plus 2+ years in Mechanical Design.
• 4+ years of experience in Mechanical Design.

Responsibilities

• Interpret design specifications, drawings, and schematics.
• Create and maintain engineering CAD models in SolidWorks.
• Provide engineering support by creating parts and assemblies in SolidWorks with detailed fabrication drawings.
• Act as part of a Product Design Team under senior engineers; perform design studies and tolerance analyses.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers for structural analysis and verify detail accuracy with team.
• Track time spent on projects and maintain the bill of materials.
