Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and sub-assemblies for robotic platforms and automation machinery using advanced CAD software.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Perform engineering analyses, including stress, motion, and kinematic simulations, to optimize performance and reliability.
• Integrate various mechanical components, including motors, sensors, actuators, and end-effectors, into cohesive robotic systems.
• Collaborate closely with electrical and controls engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and control systems.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities, troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing design improvements.
• Ensure designs adhere to industry standards for automation, safety, and quality.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to enhance product innovation and efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, assembly instructions, and maintenance guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on robotics, automation, or complex machinery.
